Bhavana, who made heads turn with her first Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi, went on to do several films in Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously. She is now flooded with offers like never before and is finding it hard to strike a balance. She has bagged many meaty roles and won the Filmfare Award For Best Actress in 2006 apart from the Kerala State Film Award for second Best Actress the same year. Bhavana, born in Thrissur, Kerala, is the daughter of Asst. Cinematographer G. Balachandran Menon and Pushpa. It now looks like Bhavana will soon be the second heroine in Asal with Ajith in the lead. Unconfirmed reports say she was approached by the makers of Asal, but she has asked for some time to decide. It is believed that Shriya Saran is also in the race, but there has been no official word on it till date. The shooting of Asal will kickstart at an undisclosed location in Malaysia and we are awaiting for more details on this magnum opus!
